Start your adventure with a scenic drive along the Georgian Military Highway, a historic route connecting Georgia to Russia. This road has been a vital trade and military passage for centuries, offering spectacular views of the Caucasus Mountains.
Your first stop is Jinvali Dam, a stunning turquoise reservoir nestled between mountains. Built in the 1980s, it supplies water to Tbilisi and is surrounded by lush landscapes, making it a perfect spot for photos.
Next, visit the Ananuri Fortress, a medieval stronghold overlooking the Jinvali Reservoir. This well-preserved complex was once the seat of the Aragvi Dukes and played a crucial role in Georgia’s history. Explore its ancient towers, churches, and fortifications, while enjoying breathtaking views of the reservoir below.
Continue your journey to Gudauri, Georgia's most famous ski resort, where you'll visit the Friendship Monument. Built in 1983, this colorful Soviet-era structure stands on the edge of a deep gorge, offering panoramic views of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. The mosaic artwork inside the monument depicts Georgian-Russian unity and historic events.
Arriving in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), a charming mountain town at the foot of Mount Kazbek (5,047m), you'll embark on an off-road drive up to the legendary Gergeti Trinity Church.
Built in the 14th century, this remote church sits at 2,170 meters above sea level and is one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes, Gergeti Trinity Church has been a place of spiritual significance for centuries, offering visitors a deep connection to Georgia's religious and cultural heritage.
On the way back, visit the village of Sno, a small yet historically rich settlement known for its ancient fortress and giant stone sculptures of Georgian poets and kings. The Sno Fortress, dating back to the 16th century, served as a defensive structure and offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.

Learn the traditional technique of twisting and sealing the perfect Khinkali, then enjoy a delicious dinner featuring local mountain dishes paired with Georgian wine or chacha.
